Privacy Policy
The short version
Tunai Now has no account, no sign-in and no server of its own. It never asks for your name, MyKad/IC number, phone number, bank details, salary slips, passwords or one-time passwords. The figures you enter into the simulation and calculators are processed on your phone only and are not sent anywhere. The only data collected is the advertising data handled by Google AdMob, described in section 3.
1. Information we do not collect
- Your name, e-mail address, phone number or home address
- Your MyKad / NRIC number, photos of identity documents or video selfies
- Bank account, card or any other financial account details
- Income, employment or loan application details
- Passwords, PINs or one-time passwords (OTP)
- Contacts, SMS messages, call logs, photos or other files, or precise location
Loan applications. The app does not receive, store, process or pass on loan applications of any kind and does not collect any applicant information. It does not access your contacts, SMS, call logs, photos or media, or your precise location. The only permission the app itself declares is internet access, used for advertising and for the advert configuration file described in section 4.
2. Information stored on your device only
The following is kept in the app's private storage on your phone. It is never uploaded or synced.

Calculator and simulation inputs are not saved permanently. You can erase everything above by clearing the app's storage in your phone settings or by uninstalling the app.
3. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The app is free and is supported by adverts from Google AdMob. To serve and measure adverts and to limit repeats, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and share with Google:
- Your device advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID)
- Device information such as model, operating system version and language
- Approximate, IP-derived location (country or region)
- Advert interactions such as impressions and taps
- Diagnostic and performance information about the advertising SDK, such as crash logs
This data is collected and processed by Google; we do not receive it in a form that identifies you. Google's use of it is described at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and in the Google Privacy Policy.
Your choices
- Where consent is required, a Google User Messaging Platform form appears before any advert is requested. You can review or change that choice later in the app under Settings → Privacy choices.
- You can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalised adverts, in your phone's settings under Google → Ads (or Privacy → Ads).
- You can pause adverts for a while by choosing to watch one rewarded video in Settings.
4. Network requests
- Advert configuration. A small JSON file is downloaded over HTTPS so that adverts can be switched on or off without an app update. The request carries no personal data.
- Advert serving. Requests made by the Google Mobile Ads SDK, described above.
- This privacy policy. Opened in your own browser when you tap the link in the app.
All traffic uses HTTPS; unencrypted connections are disabled.
5. Children
The app is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
6. Retention and your rights
Because no personal data reaches us, there is nothing for us to keep or delete on a server. Local data stays until you clear it or uninstall the app. Under Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 and similar laws you may ask about any personal data held about you; for advertising data held by Google, use Google's controls linked above.
7. About the figures in the app
Results shown by the simulation and calculators are estimates for planning, based on the numbers you enter and on publicly available information. They are not an offer, a quotation or financial advice. Loan terms are set by each lender.
8. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with a new effective date at the top.
